Vermont Fancy (Grade A Light Amber) & Grade A Medium Amber Vermont Fancy Grade
This grade is the lightest in color (light amber) and the most delicate maple flavor.

Vermont Grade A Medium Amber
This is the grade most often found on store shelves where pure maple syrup is sold. It has a stronger maple flavor than fancy and is medium in color. It is a great all-purpose syrup.

Grade A Dark Amber & Grade B Vermont Grade A Dark Amber
This is the darkest colored and strongest flavored of the table grades. It's strong maple flavor makes this popular as a table syrup, especially for those of you who like to make your pancakes and waffels with whole-grain flowers and with added ingredients such as apple pieces.

Vermont Grade B
This is the darkest and strongest flavored grade of all. This syrup is excellent for cooking. Truthfully, however, many old-time Vermonters will tell you that they prefer this grade for their table syrup.
