October 3, 26. Breathtaking Colors

We finally had a chance to scout out some colors today in other places around the area. The one photo taken out of a window is the half circle north window in the Alcott Suite. I took that and the photo of Molly's Falls Pond below Fruitlands after we arrived back here around 4:30. The photo with the Brickett's Crossing sign is the road that leads to the "winterized" camp in West Danville above Joe's Pond where we spend our first winter after college 51 years ago. The rest are from Walden, Craftsbury, Albany, Irasburg and the Lake Willoughby area in Westmore. Biased, yes, but we feel blessed to live in a place with this beauty and the healing that nature can bring to the soul.
