Brian McCandless, our guest this weekend at Fruitlands,, graced us at the Memorial Garden with several songs on his highland bag pipes. There were no dry eyes during "Amazing Grace."
On this Father's Day, we feel the absence of our parents. Much of the work and care that goes into Fruitlands is the result of our parents' examples of Yankee work and creativity. As it states on the plaque, "We tend this garden in honor of our parents, Edythe and Granville Newton and Hazel and Howard Hedden.
